Lawrence Field Managing Director of LDF Ventures, LLC

Prior to forming the firm, Lawrence was the Founder and Managing  Director of Regent Private Capital from 2000 to2018.

While at Regent Private Capital, he led the buyout of Tulsa Inspection Resources (TIR) in 2007 and became Chairman of the  Board. Under his leadership, the company grew from $70 million to $400 million in revenue. In 2013, TIR was merged into  Cypress Energy Holdings, a company that Lawrence founded in 2011 and was the Managing Director. In 2014, Cypress Energy  Partners, a subsidiary of Cypress Energy Holdings went public on the NYSE under the symbol CELP.

Lawrence has led numerous management buyouts in his career including Aaon, Inc., Westwood Corp., and Boston Medical  Devices Corp. He is a major investor in Linksquares, Inc., and sits on the Advisory Board. He is a partner in Johnnie-O, a leading  golf apparel company.

Lawrence has extensive experience in the golf industry. He co-founded Cambridge Sports Management in 1992, which became  one of the largest sports agencies managing professional golfers and golf events. Cambridge Sports Management was sold to SFX  which was subsequently sold to Clear Channel Communications. He sits on the Board of Directors of the Trans Mississippi Golf  Association and the Oklahoma Golf Hall of Fame.

Lawrence graduated in 1982 from The University of Texas at Austin, where he was the captain of the varsity golf team from  1980 – 1982. He won the 1976 National Junior PGA Championship, and numerous club championships at Tulsa Country Club,  The Golf Club of Oklahoma, Southern Hills Country Club, Shooting Star Country Club in Wyoming, and Big Horn Country Cub in  Palm Desert.
